Job description
1:1 Special needs assistant required in Chobham

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant for a special needs (SEN) school based in the Chobham area.

You will be working in a school with 80 secondary school boys aged 9-16, who have social, mental and emotional health difficulties. You will create a safe, caring environment, working 1:1 with the pupils. Each class is small in size hosting 4-8 students. The successful candidate will be a passionate, enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant who can work 1:1 as well as in small groups.

The Role
-5 days a week, term time only.
-8:30am 3:30pm
-Based in Chobham (Surrey)
-Working 1:1 with pupils who have challenging behaviour

Requirements
-Minimum 2 years of experience working with autism and challenging behaviour
-Confident with the SEN code of practice
-Experience of supporting pupils of a Primary or Secondary age
