Job description
Protocol Education are working with a special needs school for young people aged 7-11. Many students have additional needs such as mild to moderate ASD, language impairment or emotional issues. The school is currently seeking an experienced learning mentor for a KS2 pupil. This is a full-time role, 5 days a week term time only. This role is an immediate start.
This school is based in Chessington and is easily accessible by both train and bus or alternatively there is plenty of parking on site. As part of their team, you will be responsible for the progress and wellbeing of the pupil. You will be providing assistant for a student who have autism and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health).

The school are looking for individuals that are:

- Confident with the SEN code of practice
- Passionate about working in education
- Patient and calm
- Able to adapt and adjust to work in a challenging setting
- Committed to implementing the schools ethos and values
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with autism and challenging behaviour
