1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

A specialist SEN school in Gateshead is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with pupils who need extra support to engage with learning.

The pupils:

Children and young people across primary and secondary ages with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs.

The role:

• Deliver tailored support linked to EHCP outcomes
• Help pupils feel confident and safe in school
• Support behaviour and emotional regulation
• Work as part of a close-knit SEN team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
