SEN Primary Teaching Assistant
Protocol Education are looking to recruit teaching assistants in the Hammersmith and Fulham area. We are looking for candidates who are willing to work 1:1 with children with special educational needs. If you are passionate about making a difference in a child's life then please apply now.
A successful candidate will:
•Have an NVQ Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
•Experience with working with children or young people with SEND and specifically Autism
•Be PECS or Makaton trained, not necessary but preferred.
•Be committed and passionate about working with children with SEND.
Key Responsibilities:
•Working one to one with a child with SEN to ensure that their educational needs are being met.
•Planning a program for this individual student so that they are developing at an efficient rate.
•Helping with the development of social skills and confidence alongside education.
•Using all methods that are helpful for SEN children, including sensory enrichment and through specialist practices such as Makaton.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
