Job description
Protocol Education are working with a school based in the heart of colchester who are looking for an experienced and passionate SEN TA to work on a 1-2-1 and small group basis.

To be considered you must have recent experience of working as a SENTA / Teaching Assistant / Nursery Assistant in a EYFS, Primary or Nursery setting and be able to demonstrate the ability to work unguided, focusing on guiding the children's learning.

You would be required to start ASAP, however the school are prepared to wait until January for the right candidate..

The position is full time on a fixed term contract until July 2017, with the possibility that this could be extended into the next academic year.

SEN experience is essential and ASD experience is preferable

Please note: We undertake safeguarding checks on all our workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. As part of these checks, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not have a valid subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process, at a cost of £44.00.
