1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant

A fantastic primary school in Chigwell is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs throughout the school day.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping a child access learning, build confidence and achieve their individual targets within a supportive mainstream setting.

Your day could include:

• Supporting learning activities in the classroom
• Encouraging communication and social interaction
• Helping manage routines and transitions throughout the day
• Implementing strategies recommended by the SENCO and external professionals
• Celebrating achievements and building self-esteem

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting children, young people or vulnerable adults
• Can remain calm, patient and positive
• Builds strong relationships quickly
• Is passionate about inclusion and child development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
