Job description
Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a teaching assistant for a special needs (SEN) school based in Chessington. We currently looking for a long-term teaching assistant to work with a pupil on a 1:1 basis.
Situated between both Chessington North and South stations. This school offers lots of extra-curricular activities for the students to get involved in. You will be working with a KS4 student. As part of their team, you will be responsible for the progress and wellbeing of the pupil. You will be providing assistant for a student who have autism and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health). The successful candidate will be a resilient, enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant.

The Role

-5 days a week, term time only.
-8:30am 3:30pm
-Based in Chessington
-Working 1:1 with pupils who have challenging behaviour

Requirements

-Minimum 2 years of experience working with autism and challenging behaviour
-Have excellent communication skills
-Confident with the SEN code of practice
-Experience of supporting pupils of a Primary or Secondary age
