Protocol Education are currently looking to register an outstanding Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting individuals diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Conditions for a position within a mainstream school working 1-1 with a child with ASC in KS1.
The school is located in Durham with easy access for car drivers and those using public transport.
The role is to start ASAP and the school have funding for this role until July 2021 with more funding expected for the next academic year.

We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled individuals dedicated to making a real difference to young people lives, and who have good experience with autistic learners in order to support them return to education after an extended period of disruption.

Our ideal candidate should be flexible, adaptable, a good communicator, have a cheerful disposition and respond calmly under pressure.

You will be able to demonstrate a practical, hands on approach to supporting the student and be prepared to go above and beyond.

Protocol Education adheres to the following from its Support Workers;

• A DBS certificate with a live subscription to the update service or be willing to get one.
• Two professional references within the last three years.
• Someone who is committed to the safeguarding of young people.
