Job description
Special Educational Needs Support Workers.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Special Needs Support Workers /SEN carers to join a dedicated and friendly team on long term contracts with a view to extend onto a permanent contract.

The roles themselves are to work with the students in the residential part of the school ensuring they are properly cared for at all times and all personal care or physical needs are looked after.

Salary: £55 - £70 per day dependant on experience

Hours: Various shifts available.

Location: Sheffield

Closing date: 9th January

The successful candidate:
• You will be supporting residents with a range of mild to severe learning disabilities
• Maximizing independence
• Engaging with residents on a social and caring level
• Supporting them with house hold tasks and basic cooking
• Engaging in social activities and group activities
• Visiting the community to amenities and leisure centres/attractions
• Providing personal care and general living support.
• Will preferably have qualifications relating to Health and Social care, Safeguarding or child progression.
