Checking & Vetting

We undertake safeguarding checks on all teachers we place in accordance with the UK DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (July 2015). Our safeguarding processes are externally audited and we are the only agency operating in this international recruitment sector to hold the ‘REC Audited Education’ accreditation. Specifically, we undertake the following checks:

  • Identity
  • Barred List (UK)
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure (UK) or local police check from country of origin
  • Prohibition from teaching orders (UK)
  • References and employment history
  • Qualifications & Qualified Teacher Status
