Year 6 Teaching Jobs
Protocol Education works with primary and junior schools to find the best primary teachers to fill Year 6 teaching jobs and Key Stage teaching jobs.
Children are assessed at the end of the year as to whether they have met the expected national standards. The assessment tasks that all Year 6 pupils sit in May of each year. The results of these will determine whether pupils have met the ‘expected’ level in English and maths.
In both maths and English, there are a wide range of expectations for the children. Some of the content previously covered in Year 7 in secondary school has now been moved to Year 6.
The London Borough of Bromley is the most south-eastern of the 32 London boroughs that, along with the City of London, make up Greater London. The borough is named after Bromley, its principal town. The local authority is Bromley London Borough Council.
The borough is the largest in Greater London by area and occupies 59 square miles (153 km2). The majority of the borough is Metropolitan Green Belt. Consequently, it is also perhaps the most rural borough and contains more of the North Downs than any other, as that escarpment is broad between Bromley and Banstead.
