The Shropshire Supply Teaching Service and Protocol Education

Protocol Education run the Shropshire Supply Teaching Service (SSTS) on behalf of Shropshire County Council. Protocol provides daily and long-term teacher & support staff to primary and secondary schools across the county.

Protocol Education was awarded the contract for running the Supply Service for 3 principle reasons:

• Our commitment to providing a level of checking, vetting and clearing unsurpassed in our industry
• And most of all our commitment to recruiting from and fully utilising the pool of qualified and highly experienced teaching staff within Shropshire

It is our aim to service your needs in a fast, accurate and efficient manner. Zerena Adams is our consultant based in the field. Zerena visits schools and takes the time to learn their individual characteristics and needs. As a native of Shropshire is well aware of the geography of the county and the need to be able to have locally based teachers available at all times to get to schools fast.

Zerena's colleague Emma Jones is based in our Wolverhampton office and is the main point of contact for schools when placing bookings on a day-to-day basis, while also ensuring all of the teachers and support workers working through SSTS are cleared to Protocol's and Shropshire's exacting standards.
