Responsibilities:

  • Assist Curriculum Leads and Lead Teachers in devising, organising, and evaluating an adaptable curriculum.
  • Cater to diverse needs of children and young people with complex requirements.
  • Tailor curriculum to align with individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Ensure integration with broader educational frameworks.

Transition Support:

  • Facilitate learners' transition from community or home-based learning to hub or school settings.
  • Foster confidence and readiness for educational integration.
  • Participate in school development initiatives, especially in curriculum and educational strategies.

Advocacy and Support:

  • Act as an advocate for young people and their families.
  • Ensure voices are heard and needs are met.

Approach:

  • Utilise collaborative and multi-agency approach.
  • Prioritise holistic development, health and safety awareness, risk management, and safeguarding.
  • Be mobile between locations for community-based support.
  • Drive positive improvements and encourage learner participation.
