Job Title: French Teacher

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, North Yorkshire, Redcar

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in French or related field
  • Fluency in French and English

Education:

  • Degree in French or related field
  • Teaching qualification (QTS)

Experience:

  • Proven experience teaching French at the appropriate level
  • Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of French language and culture
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with exam preparation (e.g., GCSE, A-Level)
