Drama Specialist

Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a Drama Specialist to work within schools across South Bristol.

Did you know that you can bring lots of transferable skills from your Drama degree that you can apply within the classroom; teamwork, dedication, resilience, motivation, communication and of course, creativity – these are all essential when working with children and young people in schools!

With your experience in creating engaging content, you will be able to capture students’ imagination to allow them to explore their own artistic licenses. You can help develop students’ key skills and techniques within acting for theatrical productions.

Your confidence and creativity will be an asset when working with children and young people in an education setting.

Role: Drama Specialist

Start Date: Monday 20th June 2024

Location: Bristol, BS3

  • Workshop/after-school group leader
  • Drama subject lead
  • Production co-ordinator/assistant
  • Drama facilitator
  • Drama therapy within SEN schools
  • Class teacher – depending on qualifications (QTS needed)
  • Cover supervisor/unqualified teacher – (no qualifications needed)
  • Mentor
  • Behaviour Support Assistant
  • Youth Worker

 

  • Qualifications and Experience: (Desirable but not essential!)
    • Any previous teaching/youth work experience or any relevant experience working with young people.
    • Any relevant qualifications.
    • Teaching.
  • Safeguarding.
  • First Aid.
  • Youth work.
  • Understanding of National Curriculum.
