Safeguarding – NSPCC Child Protection Awareness in Education Certificate

Working in partnership with EduCare, Protocol Education is delighted to offer all registered Candidates a massive discount on a nationally accredited Safeguarding Level 1 course, which deals with the most important aspects of Safeguarding Children and is based on the publication "A Shared Responsibility" and the outcomes of "Every Child Matters".

Written by the NSPCC, this programme is aimed at anyone who comes into contact with children and their parents through their work in an education setting. It breaks down the complexities of child abuse and gives you essential information, such as what abuse is, the different types of abuse, identifying possible signs and indicators of abuse and what to do should you suspect a child is being abused.

The programme is delivered in four concise modules with questionnaires to test understanding and is available ONLINE through Protocol Education.

Module 1- Child Development
Module 2 - Understanding the Basics about Child Abuse
Module 3 - Recognising Child Abuse
Module 4 - Reporting Child Abuse
Module 5 - Working Together

If you answer 70% of the answers correctly within each questionnaire you will receive a personalised NSPCC Educare certificate, feedback detailing your scores for each module and a set of answer explanations. Protocol Education can offer this course for just £20.
