What are your registration criteria?

To work for Protocol Education you must provide original documentation of the following:

Teaching Requirements

• Hold a relevant degree level teaching qualification (or be in your final year of teacher training)
• Have experience of classroom based teaching within the last 2 years
• Have a valid visa to work in the UK or hold an EU Passport
• Provide relevant proof of identification
• Undergo an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure check
• Provide us with original documents for verification of all the above

Support Staff Requirements

• Have classroom based or carer experience within the last 2 years
• Have a valid visa to work in the UK or hold an EU Passport
• Provide relevant proof of identification
• Undergo an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure check

Where documents are required, you will need to provide us with original documents for verification. These will only need to be supplied at the interview stage.

I worked with Protocol Education some time ago, do I need to register again?

If you have worked with Protocol Education within the last 3 months you can resume without any re-registration period. If you have been away from us for longer than 3 months you will be required to re-register and be able to provide a reference for the interim period.

I have completed the online registration form, can I now work for Protocol Education?

No. The online registration form will be forwarded to the consultant closest to your current location. If you currently live outside of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or North America and the Carribean your application will only be handled once you arrive in the UK.

Once your local office has assessed your suitability for work with Protocol Education they will contact you and invite you to interview. If you receive no contact from Protocol Education please consider your application unsuccessful.

Do I have to pay to register with Protocol Education?

You do not. If you require a CRB check you will be asked to pay £44, however this will be repaid to you once you have completed 44 days working with Protocol Education.
