Many practitioners are increasingly keen to harness the benefits of sourcing teaching and learning materials from the Internet and using them in their teaching practice. However, the World Wide Web can be a daunting place to source information if you don’t know where to look.

Teacher Resource Exchange - www.tre.ngfl.gov.uk 
The Teacher Resource Exchange (TRE) is a moderated database of resources and activities created by teachers. All resources on the TRE are checked by subject specialists to ensure they are of the highest possible quality.

For every subject, this site has: the programmes of study and nonstatutory guidelines, attainment targets, notes and links to online teaching resources.

OFSTED - www.ofsted.gov.uk
Ofsted is the inspectorate for children and learners in England. The agency contributes to the provision of better education and care through effective inspection and regulation.

TeacherNet - www.teachernet.gov.uk
Information and downloadable materials regarding everything to do with teaching and learning, professional development, the education community...etc.

Training and Development Agency - www.tda.gov.uk
The Training and Development Agency for Schools is an executive non-departmental public body of the Department for Education and Skills.
