Protocol Education pays at a level to retain and reward teachers and you will always receive a fair day’s pay for your work, as well a range of loyalty bonuses and incentives to supplement earnings. Pay rates in regional areas will vary so please ask your local consultant for more information.

Maximise your Finances with My Key Pay

Protocol Education works in partnership with an ‘umbrella provider’ called Portfolio, that provides qualifying overseas teachers and support workers with the opportunity to significantly enhance their take-home pay through a range of allowable expenses.

Registering with My Key Pay, a product of Portfolio, means that you are entitled to offset work-related expenses such as travel, subsistence and some of the other direct costs associated with being a supply worker.

Sound complicated? It is really easy!

Each week, along with your Protocol Education Timesheet, you will complete an Expenses Claim form and send this to My Key Pay. These allowable expenses are deducted from your gross income before tax and National Insurance are calculated. This means they are effectively paid to you tax free, thus increasing your take home pay.
