A challenging but rewarding opportunity has arisen within a local south Bristol Primary School for an experienced special needs assistant to support a Year 1 student with Autism & Cerebral Palsy.



Your main duties will involve supporting him 5 days a week with his school routine, general needs and also supporting him at lunch time and with his personal care.



The is a great opportunity to gain a full time role within a very supportive school and have responsibility of working on a one to one basis with a particular student. He's very strong minded and needs a firm but fair style of support.



You must have experience of working with special needs, Autism, Cerebral Palsy and challenging behaviour. Support through lunch time is needed and you must be happy to help with personal care too.



This role is from 1st September to 17th December and could possibly continue in the New Year.
