A very successful purpose built nursery are looking for qualified early years practitioner to join their team to start full time immediately.



Key Objectives of the role:

· To work as a member of the nursery team, showing initiative and creativity to foster an environment which encourages the children's all round development.

· Be a reliable member of a team, working co-operatively and with flexibility.

· Observe each child's progress and report on achievements, looking for progression and continuity. Where appropriate, participate in a "key-worker" system and take a special interest in a specified number of children.

· Develop excellent communications with parents/carers, encouraging them to participate in their child's progress and development.

· Formulate, operate and evaluate a programme of activities, suitable for the age range of children, following the EYFS framework.

· Assist with the creation of a stimulating and attractive room environment.

· Attend Parent meetings, be involved in fundraising events and assist with the promotion of the nursery as required.

· Assist with the care, maintenance and security of equipment and toys within the Nursery.

· To help provide an environment where children value and respect different cultures, religion, language and disability and ensure that toys and games reflect this within the setting.



The ideal candidate will be proactive, efficient, friendly and have a passion for working with young children. Experience is therefore not essential but always beneficial.
