Arabic speaking Teaching Assistant required



A popular primary school located in Ealing are currently recruiting for an Arabic speaking Teaching Assistant, to start work in September 2010, on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm).



Within this role, you will be:



· supporting teachers in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes

· responsible for helping to set up the classroom and prepare materials

· working with children in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, to increase their learning

· supporting with literacy, numeracy, ICT and art activities

· looking after children's safety in the playground

· assisting children in snack time

· providing feedback to the class teacher about the children

· supporting children who speak English as an additional language, specifically with Arabic speaking children



To apply for this position, it is imperative that you have prior experience as a Teaching Assistant within a primary school. You will also hold a relevant childcare qualification, ideally a Teaching Assistant NVQ Level 2 or Level 3. You must also be able to speak English and Arabic.



We are looking for someone who can use their initiative, has common sense, has lots of experience from within primary schools, is friendly, and is happy to be flexible.
